This Cookie Policy explains how Them Labs, Inc. ("Them AI", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on usethem.ai and its subdomains. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

The short version: we use a small set of cookies - mostly to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don't run advertising cookies, and we don't sell data collected through cookies.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use related technologies such as local storage; we refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" here.

The cookies we use

• Session cookie (strictly necessary) - an httpOnly cookie scoped to usethem.ai that keeps you signed in across the app and refreshes your session securely. Lifetime: up to 30 days, or until you log out. The product does not work without it.
• Consent choice (strictly necessary) - remembers whether you accepted or declined non-essential cookies, so we don't ask on every visit. Lifetime: 12 months.
• Preferences - local-storage entries that remember settings like theme, so the interface stays consistent between visits. Lifetime: until you clear them.
• Analytics - first-party usage measurement that helps us understand which pages and features are used so we can improve the product. Data is aggregated; we do not use it to profile individuals or for advertising. Set only with your consent where the law requires it.

What we don't use

No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. No social-media pixels. No selling or sharing of cookie data for targeted advertising.

First- and third-party cookies

Most of our cookies are set by Them AI directly (first-party). A small number may be set by the vendors that operate parts of the service for us, such as analytics. These vendors are bound by data-processing agreements and may only use the data to provide their service to us.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings - most browsers let you block them entirely. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break signing in. Useful guides: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as the product and the technologies we use evolve. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
